Zea Relief Q&A with our Customer Service Team

Hayden Brass | 05 July

At Zea, we take pride in providing genuine and personalised customer service. Our Customer Service Team, led by Bianca, is dedicated to understanding your needs and establishing a strong connection with you.

In this blog post, we have compiled 10 of our top frequently asked questions (FAQs) we receive about our Zea Relief products and Bianca's expert answers.

Read on to find answers to your burning questions!

Q1: Can the Zea Relief products help with arthritis, osteoarthritis, joint pain, stiffness, and swelling?

A: For arthritis-related pain, we highly recommend our Zea Relief Kunzea Pain Relief Cream. This multi-active anti-inflammatory cream is exceptionally efficient at absorption, making it ideal for customers with more chronic conditions. It has been listed on the ARTG for the relief of mild arthritis and joint pain.

Another great option is our Kunzea Concentrated Massage Oil, specifically formulated for acute conditions and localised discomfort. Using it before applying the Kunzea Pain Relief Cream can provide additional benefits.

We have also published several pain management articles that complement the use of Zea Relief products in treating chronic pain.

Always read the label. Use only as directed. If symptoms persist, talk to your health professional.

Q2: Can the Kunzea Pain Relief Cream be used during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?

A: Our Kunzea Pain Relief Cream does not contain any ingredients known to be unsafe during pregnancy or breastfeeding. We recommend following the "Directions for Use" on the packaging.

During pregnancy, limit your use to 3-4 times per day, and while breastfeeding, avoid applying it to areas accessible to the baby's mouth.

Q3: Can I use the Kunzea Pain Relief Cream while taking other medications such as blood thinners?

A: Our Kunzea Pain Relief Cream and the ingredients with the anti-inflammatory cream have no known contraindications with different medications. It has been formulated with safety and quality in mind. However, we recommend consulting your medical practitioner if you have any concerns or specific conditions. We have not received any reports of serious adverse reactions to date.

Q4: What product do you suggest for Eczema and Psoriasis?

A: At this stage, our top recommendation for eczema-prone and psoriasis-prone skin skin is the Original Kunzea Cream. Its rich consistency provides hydration and nourishment for hands and body.

Another excellent option is our Kunzea Muscle Balm, formulated with natural beeswax. This 100% natural balm soothes, moisturises, nourishes, and protects the skin. To enhance the use of Zea Relief products for treating your condition, we have published several helpful blog posts.

Q5: Is Kunzea Pain Relief Cream available in Chemist Warehouse or other stores throughout Australia?

A: While Zea Relief and Zea Active products may not be available in Chemist Warehouse, they are stocked in hundreds of pharmacies, natural health stores and allied health practices across Australia. Some of the major retailers we are currently stocked include Terry White Chemmart, Go Vita Health Stores, Ramsey Pharmacies, Malouf Pharmacies and Chempro Chemist.

Q6: Can I get pain relief for my Sciatica pain and Nerve pain?

A: Our Kunzea Pain Relief Cream is highly recommended for more serious conditions, including joint-related pain like sciatica. Customers have reported great results in finding relief from mild sciatica, mild nerve pain, and neuralgia using our best-selling kunzea cream and other Zea Relief products.

Always read the label. Use only as directed. If symptoms persist, talk to your health professional

Q7: Do you have a product that can help with Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS)?

A: While we don't have a product specifically designed for Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS), our Zea Relief range is formulated to manage the pain associated with various forms of inflammation. Although the direct association between RLS and inflammation is not fully understood, our Kunzea Pain Relief Cream has provided relief for many customers. Visit our website to read reviews regarding RLS and our products.

Another option is our MAGZEA Cooling Spray, combining the natural anti-inflammatory benefits of Kunzea with the muscle relaxant properties of Magnesium.

Q8: Do your products have a strong scent like other pain relief products on the market?

A: Each of our Zea Relief products has a unique scent to cater to different preferences. The scent of our signature ingredient, Tasmanian Kunzea ambigua, is described as "clean, fresh, and invigorating." It is often likened to Eucalyptus or Tea Tree, but with a more subtle aroma. Most of our customers appreciate the scent as it is not overpowering like many similar menthol-based products that are most commonly available.

Q9: Can I use the Kunzea Pain Relief Cream on my face?

A: While the base ingredients of our Kunzea Pain Relief Cream resemble those found in high-end nourishing moisturisers, we do not recommend using it as a daily face moisturiser for most people. This concentrated formula contains essential oils that may irritate if applied too close to the eyes.

Instead, we recommend our Original Kunzea Cream, which contains the natural benefits of Tasmanian Kunzea Oil in a rich, fast-absorbing formula suitable for healing and moisturising the hands, face, and body. Stay tuned for updates on our upcoming skincare line specifically formulated for the face!

Q10: I didn't get pain relief straight away, what should I do?

A: While it's rare for us to receive negative feedback, we are committed to helping you find relief and enhancing your overall satisfaction in anyway that we can. Here are some suggestions that we have to improve your experience and give you the best chance of getting long-lasting relief:

  1. Persist and Use Regularly: Relief products may take a few weeks of consistent application to yield long-lasting results.
  2. To better understand your specific condition: We have a few questions that can help our in-house health practitioner offer free assistance tailored to your needs. Please take a moment to answer these questions. Your responses will help us provide more personalised guidance and support to our condition.
  3. Explore our pain management blog posts: We have a collection of informative blog posts on pain management, which may offer additional treatment suggestions to complement the use of Zea Relief products, such as diet, exercise, lifestyle choices and supplements. You can access these resources here.
  4. Consider it a preventative measure: Applying the Zea Relief pain relief product multiple times per day could potentially help prevent the condition from worsening in the future. Many of our customers also use our products as daily moisturisers to support overall skin health.
  5. Customer Satisfaction Guarantee: If you have followed all of the above and consistently used the product for 2 weeks according to the application guidelines on your Zea Relief product and are still unsatisfied, you may be eligible for our  100% customer satisfaction guarantee. Please email our team at hello@zea.com.au to lodge your return.

We like to refer to our Kunzea Pain Relief Cream, in particular, not only provides effective pain relief for many individuals but also serves as an "inflammation-fighting" moisturiser. Even if the above suggestions do not fully address your concerns, we hope you can still benefit from the cream's moisturising and nourishing qualities. Moreover, using the cream regularly may help prevent the pain from worsening in the future.

We genuinely hope that these suggestions prove helpful to you. Our goal is to assist you in any way we can and provide free advice or point you in the right direction.
